Welcome to Saint Oran Speaks

My photo
Saint Oran Speaks is a blog of messages channeled through M. E. Jones from Saint Oran, the Druid of the Hebrides. After a long rest on an ancient island, he has returned with messages from spirit. Thank you for bearing witness to the unfolding . . . NEW content on the way!

A clean, well-lighted mental place

I've been thinking about my most recent post. . . I got pretty fired up about this right work business. I am changing. I've been listening to Kelly Howell's Theatre of the Mind Technology for Transformation CDs. They're basically a series of subliminal recordings that work on with your Delta, Alpha, Beta and Theta Waves. These specific tones that work directly on the body, to help free you of old useless patterns. I've been listening The Secret of Attracting Wealth. My mother got it for me! I was a little resistant, but decided to give it a try. I listen to the CD on my iPod as I drift to sleep. Sometimes, I'll play the CD on a loop all night. It's extremely relaxing, at the same time I feel my powers of perception are increasing. Howell explains that after six weeks you'll start a feel change. I feel it now. I'm starting to address some very VERY old patterns in my life-- they are floating to the top of my subconscious and popping like air bubbles to the surface. I've done quite a bit of crying over the past 2 weeks, but the clouds are clearing, and I feel good about moving on.

Hence my "Right Work" cheerleading. It's all stuff I need to hear, too. I must implement my own plans, listen to my own messages. The messages don't just come from Saint Oran. I write often with Lord Byron, 18th Century the poet-- I have since I was a teen. While I was writing with him, a message came through from someone else. You have to understand, when you open a channel "on the other side" you've basically opened some kind of spiritual deli counter-- you can bet that someone wants to talk about something and they're not so good at taking a number(which is why I mentioned in an earlier post to guard your mind while doing this work. Anyway, the message is from Ernest Hemingway. He died nine years before I was born electing to end his life in his 61st year in 1961.

I've only received messages from him twice-- once through my mother(she also has this skill), when I was in high school, and it was one sentence, which if you've read his work, you know how that man can put things just so. The other message was considerably longer. I'm about to share with you in this post.

I know, I know. Who's next, Cleopatra?
Nah. Maybe if I were a super model. . .spirits gather around their charges, and I believe those spirits often act as personal patron saints.

I don't imagine that there are many skeptics reading this blog, but I still feel the need to compare and contrast a bit:

Here are a few examples of Hemingway's signature:

Here's a picture from my moleskin:

Now, I'm no graphologist, but I would call his signature and the one in my notebook a close match. Same pen stroke, same little letters. I channel with my left hand, but in life, I'm right-handed.

Here's the transcript of the message, sans my encrypted question I ask anyone who comes through:

Hemingway.

Hello again, Jones. It has been a while. You know you have an enormous talent. Don't waste it on fear. Remember what I said before, that which is not captured by the pen is lost forever. Stop making lists of all the rotten men you've met and start writing your story, Jones.

What in the world are you afraid of?

Sure, there is past history there are the times when your writing got you killed in France, for one thing. And before that too. You've been a scribe nearly everytime you've come back it's a thing with your soul. And it's ancient, and can eat you alive if you don't feed it pens and paper.

This is the way I am, Jones. Not going to draw pretty hearts.* But you are tops in my book. Now, if you'd just write yours, we'll be square.

Best to you

Hemingway.

*Byron who's connection Hemingway interrupted, almost always draws a heart at the end of his message.

I couldn't make this up if I tried.

Thanks for wading through this incredibly long post.

This post reminds people there is far more to the human concept of automatic writing than they may expect. It is very meaningful to expect the unexpected and go with your own intuition. We need not explain everything the way the logical mind might demand.

The practice of automatic writing is distinctly human, it's a spiritual connection using the mechanics of the the body and the ethereal material of being. It never ceases to amaze me when this electrical connection is made. The needle on the vinyl record transmitting words and sounds, from the grooves.

The logical mind has a limited understanding itself. It has to see to believe, rather than believe to see. . .

Funny, I sense that message Ernest Hemingway conveyed to you also resonates with me. You don't think about the 'electrical connection,' you just connect and words begin to flow from somewhere meaningful. The origin isn't important. Its what you choose to feel ready to take in and how you act afterward that matters.

Absolutely. We're like radios-- the dial turns, and what comes through, comes through-- sometimes it's just static. Other times the voice is clear, and the music can be heard.
