Saint Oran Speaks is a blog of messages channeled through M. E. Jones from Saint Oran, the Druid of the Hebrides. After a long rest on an ancient island, he has returned with messages from spirit. Thank you for bearing witness to the unfolding . . . NEW content on the way!

Acension (Message #15)

Hi, it's the gildedbutterfly,

I got up at about 6am to do my writing with Saint Oran this morning, after which I took a very short nap (I usually do, in order to try to integrate what I've witnessed (read). Oran wrote of seismic activity, which in hindsight I imagine he was talking about the earth quake in China that could be felt as far as Thailand that I didn't know about at the time of this session...

Hello friends,

This Oran, your Brother and your Kin. There is a great shift occurring upon earth. The seismic events are proof. This is not punishment. This is not some form of revelation. This is the beginning of the ascension of 2012. Not an ending. A shift. A beginning. Many people are choosing to enter the spirit realm. Some souls are needed in order to bring new life into the world. New beings who will possess the memory of who they are. These beings are human, but will be aware of their true selves. They will bring light and healing to this world. It is difficult on the human nature to truly understand that death is not an ending. But try to process the notion that there is only transformation and have compassion for yourselves.

Go now.
Your Brother.

This regular ritual of channeling must be very exhilarating for you. I wonder if you feel connected to the channelling entity as Jane Roberts did with Seth? She learned a lot about her connection to this entity from past-life regression. That can be very illuminating!

Hmmm.
I have not thought of it as exhilarating, but yes, I suppose it is. I also feel compelled to do it.
It feels mission-driven, at times. Sometimes he wakes me to talk, to write. It's lonely, at times.

Occasionally the message is difficult for me to share, like in the case of the earth quake in China. It's hard for my human self not to ache for the parents who lost a child-- their only child.

The thought of past-life regression kind of terrifies me. Add that my list of fears, I guess.

Through dreams and remote viewing I have been able to access fragments of my past. I'm pretty sure I met my end, several times, for writing. As fate would have it, writing is all I really want to do, but I'm nearly scared to death of it. Add writing to my list of fears as well, dammit.

I absolutely feel connected to Oran. I do feel that he is my brother, my kin, as he says.

Rather than get regressed, I want to visit the Isle of Iona, where Oran lived. I would really like to spend some time there. I might have to get one of those deli counter number machines. "You're who? King who? Slow down, sir. Do you have an appointment? Yes, yes, take a number, please. Two-hundred words or less. To ensure a proper connection, please have your thoughts collected before your number is called."

I've been obsessed with trying to find out more about St. Oran since 2006, when my brother Oran died at the age of 38. I search and search the Internet, and can never find more than a couple of paragraphs about his namesake.

Today is the 2nd anniversary of my brother's death, and I couldn't sleep - was compelled to get out of bed at 3am to search the net once again. I searched for St. Oran and found your blog. Your messages from St. Oran are inspiring and very helpful to my present state of mind. Reading them is like reading messages from my own brother. Especially since St. Oran signs off with "your brother, your kin". I feel so comforted and certainly never expected to find something like this.

(The fact that you are 38, too, did not escape my attention. These are strange connections, indeed. Thank you for sending messages from St. Oran, and I hope they continue...)

Dear KRG,

Your note is a clear confirmation to me that this is good work. Necessary work. You’ve given me great encouragement to continue. I thank you for speaking out, and I am so, SO grateful for your message. Saint Oran is your brother-- he’s our brother. We are all connected.

You’re right, not much information has made it to the web on Saint Oran. If you haven’t already, take a look at these:

www.philipcoppens.com/iona.html
www.columcille.org/storan.htm
http://home.clara.net/trallwyn/Iona.html

I’m sure one of the reasons these messages are flowing through me now is to help complete the record of this man’s life.

Thanks again for your message. I wish you comfort as you remember your brother, Oran.

As you sense a strong pull to Isle of Iona, I would really encourage you to find a way to get there. We are drawn to people and places for reasons beyond our conscious selves. The more you attune to your inner self, the more you realize it makes sense to follow the signs and listen to your soul. It is a very trustworthy compass.

I think about going to Iona, almost every day. I'm sure as I visualize being there, I am pulling the reality of being there, into view.
I do think I need to begin a plan for this journey, in earnest.

During a guided meditation the other day, I journeyed to the Hill of Tara. The interesting thing: I was as big as the hill herself! I was stretched across the hill like it was my bed.
